 Repair
Stuff breaks. You kick it and hit it until it works for a little while longer and then the day comes when it finally dies, and then you shed a few tears and you say " that was my favorite piece of Sh--"
We specialize in all aspects of pro audio equipment repair. Our clients frequently arrange to drop off broken microphones, amplifiers, and various types of analog and digital outboard gear at our North Hollywood office. Depending on our schedule and yours, we may be available to pick it up. If we can't fix it, there will be just a minimum bench fee for diagnostics, if that.
We are available to travel. Our work often involves coming out to you. We are the on call technicians for several professional recording studios in Los Angeles, where we service everything from consoles and tape machines, to amplifiers instruments and speaker systems. We can rewire troublesome patchbays, cues and mic lines, or just troubleshoot existing problems.
Installation
We offer pro audio and consumer installation services and custom wiring.
We'll get your studio up and running. Record producers contact us to install vintage consoles in their project studios. Professional recording studios in town hire us to install their new state of the art sound boards. A successful used and refurbished audio equipment dealer out of Nashville, frequently hires us to set up their newly purchased consoles for new owners. We're prepared to dedicate more time to install large scale studio equipment. Whatever your installation needs are, we'll work with you.
We are very familiar with multi room function home entertainment systems, sound systems for dance studios, as well as designing and installing large theatre systems. Several consumer electronics stores used to send their installation work to us.
That worked out well, until the stores started their own installation departments using their own equipment and people with little experience. Well my friends, you get what you pay for ! So, if you are looking to install a quality system, please don't hesitate to call us first.
If you are serious about installing your new high-end car audio system we can come to you. Our fee may be higher than the average in-town shop, but we can offer you the luxury of convenience and privacy. We'll bring our equipment to your home and provide you with a quality installation on the spot.
 Commissioning
Commissioning starts with diagnostics and visual inspection. Then follows the painful truth or a pleasant surprise. It is a good idea to have someone you trust go through any equipment you intend on purchasing or using in your system. The most common problem in vintage recording consoles and vintage gear is old dried up capacitors and dirt, or bad tubes, but the advantages are a huge plus if they are repaired.
We can assess the condition of your gear and inform you of any necessary repairs. We'll either take care of those for you, or at least help point you in the right direction.
Consultations
It has been my experience, the only way to get the job done to the clients expectations is to have a good line of communication with the end user, whether it be in a commercial business, or a private home.
What ever we do, our goal is to make what we do user friendly. Be it the design of a patch bay, connecting up your new 5.1 surround system or the repair of some old piece of vintage tube gear, it is in all of our best interest to have a consultation so we can best serve you.

We are happy to work with you on your custom manufacturing project... if it is in your budget. Their will be extensive consultations and high costs $$.
Troubleshooting
My favorite part of troubleshooting is the game and the chase. I do not give up easy. I own many types of test equipment, some old and some new. But I do wish you had documentation. That would save you money!
